The BFDG and ADG in Discussion: An Art Department Perspective on the Current Industry Strikes is now available to watch again.

On Wednesday 9th August, the BFDG’s Chairperson Blair Barnette spoke to Chuck Parker, National Executive Director for the Art Directors Guild, IATSE Local 80, and Production Designer Mark Scruton discussed the strike, the negotiations, how it’s affecting the art department and why we care all the way over here.

With unreliable reports coming from the American Hollywood news outlets, and a second round of talks with the AMPTP which recently came to nothing, they shed some light on the current situation from the nexus including how studio agendas could affect the Art Department and how any positive outcomes that come from this sea-change would impact the industry.
