Lola Fleming

Lola has been an integral part of our Art Department here on Narnia since day one, now almost a year ago. During this time I have had the pleasure of being constantly surprised and delighted at the flexibility of her mind and vigor in attacking new tasks. She has been active in many areas from the mundane to the highly abstract and has excelled at all the challenges she has encountered always with a cheerful and positive attitude. She has participated in some very complex and abstract research in our creature design for example, working through illustrations and trying to pair them with real world materials for over 40 digital creature builds. She has gotten experience assisting the stand by art director for several weeks, learning along side Jo Riddler and shown a particular aptitude for this position. She has done countless tape outs on stage, built physical models, bits of graphics, hundreds of lunch runs, thousands of teas, run the output of hundreds of illustrations and graphics on the plotters and printers here in the office. But most of all, has shown a keen eye, calm demeanor and overall stellar attitude. She is a bright star, and I have no doubt she has a big future in our business. I hope you will consider her for this award. Narnia would not exist without her!
