Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden support BFDG Production Design Awards

The BFDG is delighted to announce that Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden have agreed to continue their support of our annual flagship event, by taking on the lead sponsor title for the Production Design Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Art Department.

With up to five potential winners for this Award, the Guild aims to celebrate the broad spectrum of Art Department talent within our membership. From Storyboard Artists to Art Directors and all the others in between, this Award recognises those who have made a positive impact on the Art Department and deserve to be thanked. It could be through their craft skill or talent, mentorship of a colleague, or perhaps even their kindness and thoughtfulness of others.

Emily Stillman, Senior Vice President at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden said, “We are delighted to support The British Film Designers Guild and their annual Production Design Awards. These awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the Production Design and Art Departments and shine the light on this important area of our industry.”

Sonja Klaus, BFDG Chair, said, “We are proud to continue our relationship with Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and thank them for their support. The Outstanding Contribution Award was created so we could recognise and showcase the amazing work that our Art Department colleagues do across the board, not just at Head of Department level. We have some incredible people in our Guild and the fact that Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden wants to help us celebrate their talent means the world to us all.”

We are accepting nominations for the Outstanding Contribution to the Art Department Award until 10th December 2021.
