In this episode of Work in Progress, Mark Kermode speaks to the winners of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award – Production Designer, Gavin Bocquet and Supervising Art Director, Charmian Adams.
Gavin Bocquet and Charmian Adams have both had long and very interesting careers working in Film and TV Art Departments. They talk about how they found their way into a career in the Art Department and how their careers developed.
Gavin has worked on productions such as: Star Wars, Stardust , XXX 1, Warcraft and The Dark Crystal. More recently he has worked as Production Designer on the Apple TV hit Silo. In contrast highlights of Charmian’s career include: Syd and Nancy, Downton Abbey S1, Hilary & Jackie, My Cousin Rachel, McMafia and SAS Rogue Heroes S 1.
