Our film courses in London and Dubai offer an exceptional blend of practical skills and theoretical knowledge, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and worldbuilding. Students passionate about design will learn to develop and execute a comprehensive design vision, encompassing all aspects of the art department. From initial concept to final delivery, the course covers project management, collaboration with directors, producers, and cinematographers, as well as adapting locations or constructing sets.
Participants are encouraged to engage in every facet of the art department, including storyboarding, drafting, modelling, props, set dressing, costume design, makeup, and working with special and visual effects. By working on major projects, students have the opportunity to hone their talents and focus on specific professional interests, preparing them for a successful career in the film industry.
BA (Hons) 3D for Film and Games
The BA 3D for Film and Games course at Middlesex University, designed to equip students with a balanced blend of technical expertise and creative design skills. This program addresses the increasingly blurred lines between the film, animation, and gaming industries, preparing students for dynamic careers in these interconnected fields.
Our comprehensive curriculum emphasises both the artistic and technical aspects of 3D design.
