Submit Your Planet Positive Production Design Entries

Welcome to the 13th BFDG PRODUCTION DESIGN Planet Positive Award Submit your entry

Please complete this form and submit your entry presentation which showcases your submission for the new Planet Positive Award.  This Award is intended to showcase BFDG members who drive planet positive
initiatives and champion sustainability in the Art Department.

All Entries will be reviewed and judged by the BFDG committee, albert, our Planet Positive sponsor and sustainability professionals working in film & TV. 

It is possible to submit more than one entry by completing separate forms for each one.

Entries will close at 5pm on the 15 January 2024.

Your entry will be checked to ensure it meets the criteria for the award and we may contact you for more information to support your entry.

The judges will consider all environmental initiatives that help to reduce carbon emissions and waste throughout the production process and welcome any questions you may have before submitting your entry.

Prepare Your Assets

Still Image

This image should best represent your work on the production you are submitting. 

Your image should be landscape: 1920px width by 1080px height. (And no smaller than 1024px x 768px.)

File size no larger than 5MB.
Formatted as either JPG or PNG.

Trailer

YouTube or Vimeo Link are both acceptable. Please check the full Awards criteria for information on correct Vimeo settings.

Presentation

Please refer to the full criteria before submitting your entry. Please submit the presentation as a PDF, no bigger than 30MB, in A4 landscape format (we suggest using keynote, PowerPoint, Google slides). Your presentation can include testimonials, pictures, videos (embedded, or a vimeo link for example), drawings and any data you might have. For example, the level of reduction in waste, carbon emissions or the number of props reused. The presentation should comprise one title page, up to 2 pages of written statement and up to 3 pages of visual references (photographs, artwork, mood boards, notes etc). Please name the file: YourName-PlanetPositivePresentation.pdf

6 page presentation, 1 title page, 2 pages of text and 3 pages of additional images.
