Thu 05 Jun 2025BFDG/ADG Coffee Morning Brings Global PD Community TogetherOur recent BFDG/ADG Coffee Morning (or Evening, depending on your time zone!) was a resounding success, drawing participants from both the UK and US for a lively and thoughtful discussion. The event created a valuable space for Production Designers and Art Department professionals to share experiences, compare challenges, and connect over our shared passion for the craft. One clear takeaway from the conversation was the collective desire to raise global awareness of the Production Designer’s role — not just within the industry, but with the public as well. As our visibility continues to decline across Film & TV, the need for advocacy and recognition has never been greater. Events like these remind us of the strength we have when we come together across borders. Our thanks to all who attended — and to our colleagues at the Art Directors Guild (ADG) for their continued collaboration.
