For our British Film Designers Guild members we’ve created a simple but well-formatted email signature for use with some of the popular mail platforms
Members Email Signature
How to use
- Download the zip archive with the email signature template.
- Double-click the downloaded zip archive.
- Inside the archive, double-click the .html file. The signature template will open in your web browser.
- Press CTRL+A (COMMAND+A on Mac Computers) on your keyboard to highlight the entire signature template.
- Press CTRL+C (COMMAND+C on Mac Computers) on your keyboard or right-click a highlighted part of the signature template and choose the Copy option to copy the signature to the clipboard.
- Open the HTML signature editor in your email client and click inside the editor space to activate the cursor.
- Press CTRL+V (COMMAND+V on Mac Computers) on your keyboard or right-click inside the editor space and select Paste (Keep source formatting).
- Then simply replace the {First name}, {Last name}, {Job role} placeholders with your details.
- Save changes.
N.B Certain Apple Mail and iCloud Mail accounts will not allow you to copy and paste the HTML into your signature editor. Please find an in depth guide on this link explaining how to add an HTML signature for these types of accounts.
