Siyamak Karinejad is an Iranian production designer with over two decades of experience in cinema, working primarily in independent and auteur-driven productions.
His credits include Ava (2017), The Friend’s House Is Here (2026), and A Time in Eternity (2026). His work on Ava earned him a nomination at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards.
His approach to production design is rooted in the relationship between narrative, character, and architectural space, with a particular interest in how environments contribute to the dramatic structure and visual identity of a film.
He is a member of the British Film Designers Guild and an International Voting Member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
