Kirsty Dunlop

Biography

I’ve just finished my BA (Hons) in TV and Film Set Design at the University of South Wales and recently became an RTS Bursary Scholar, with a mentor from Apple TV+. I’ve always been passionate about both design and TV, so I’m really excited to now be looking for hands-on experience in the industry to help me take the next step in my creative career.

I’m especially interested in the Art Department and love getting stuck into all aspects of the design process—whether that’s sketching, draughting, concept art or model making. I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and I’m currently learning AutoCAD, Photoshop and a bit of Blender to build up my digital skills alongside my hand-drawing. I’ve worked on several small-scale projects throughout uni, and now I’m eager to be part of something larger where I can learn from experienced professionals, contribute ideas, and see how a real production comes together.

I’m a friendly, hard-working and hands-on person who loves learning new things and supporting the people around me. In the long run, I hope to build a career where I can keep growing creatively and be part of making stories come to life on screen.
