Michael Wright began his film career in the art department at multi Academy Award winning Aardman working on Nick Park’s ‘Grand Day Out’ and Peter Gabriel’s 'Sledgehammer' promo (Dir Stephen Johnson 1985) and the Academy Award winning 'Creature Comforts'.

He then moved into directing TV commercials for production companies such as Aardman (Chicken Run) and Michael Gondry’s Partizan working for agencies worldwide, while continuing screenwriting and developing various feature projects the most recent of which is The Undertaker starring Paul McGann and Tara Fitzgerald.
