Hello I'm James O'Shea, a Storyboard Artist and Illustrator. My experiences include working with Directors, Production Designers, D.O.P's, Producers and VFX Supervisors. Working across Film, Streaming Shows, TV Commercials and Advertising Campaigns. 

I love Storyboarding and Drawing, Films and Film Making. I am a Fine Art BA (Hons) Graduate of Exeter College of Art and Design. For many years I worked In Animation, working on Productions for  Walt Disney TV, Warner Bros Feature Animation, Fox Animation and Aardman, as Character Animator in Classical Hand Drawn Animation, then CGI and then as a Storyboard Artist where I segued into the Art Department for VFX, Commercials and Live Action Productions. 

As a Storyboard Artist and Illustrator I am comfortable working in a completely Digital Art Department, I draw and create all Artwork in Photoshop and do utilise some 3D Software too. I can also work in Traditional Storyboard Pencil Frames and fully Edited Animatics.

Recent Credits include "Light Bulb" for A24/Apple TV, "Heartstopper Forever" for Netflix/See-Saw Films and "Prime Target" (2025) for Apple TV/Scott Free Productions. I have also have extensive experience working on Pitches, recent Clients include Sky, BBC Studios, Appian Way Productions, pitching on, "Walking with Dinosaurs"-BBC (2025), "Call of Duty, Black OPs 6"- Activision (2024), "Hugo Your Own Way"-Hugo Boss (2025), "City of Genius"- Moncler (2025) and "Hyper Sail"- Ferrari (2026).
