Biography

Daniel Koene is a Designer and Art Director with over 10 years of experience in film, TV, and live experiences. His portfolio includes high-profile projects such as Avatar: The Way of Water and The Power of the Dog, spanning genres from sci-fi to period and contemporary films. In early 2025, Daniel worked as an Assistant Art Director with PD Kevin Jenkins and SAD Shira Hockman on Netflix’s 11817, building on his previous roles as a Set Designer across major international productions. With a foundation in both fine arts and architecture, he combines creative vision with technical expertise to craft visually compelling and emotionally engaging environments.

Based in London, Daniel is now seeking new opportunities as an Art Director and is enthusiastic about collaborating on ambitious projects that bring stories to life through innovative design.
