With twenty years experience in Set Construction prior to joining the Art Department, my path might not have been the most conventional, but one that gave me an excellent grounding and insight into what is required to efficiently run a productive department.

A good appreciation of the collaborative nature of film making, strong organisational and communication skills, and an ability to get on with people and thrive in a team environment, made making the transition into the Art Department relatively straightforward.

I’m as equally happy rolling up my sleeves and getting hands on in a small department as I am managing fifty plus crew and eight figure budgets, with multiple set builds occurring in different locations simultaneously.
