Art Director, Digital Imaging Specialist, Image Capture Consultant 

I have an extensive history working in the Art Departments of the film industry which began more than thirty years ago as a freelance Art Dept Assistant in the (old) Elstree Studios  

I learnt set construction in a pre-digital age including technical drawing by hand in pencil, lens projections, foreground miniatures and forced perspective sets all of which gave me a solid grounding for future jobs as Art Director

In 1993, I moved to Berlin, where  I continued to worked as Art Director on many international features over the next two decades. I also worked once or twice as Production Designer on features.

In 2017 I joined Rosco to work as their European Digital Imaging Specialist for day/night backdrops. I now travel as a photographer across Europe for still and motion Image Capture and advise Art Directors, Production Designers and Cinematographers on finding the right backdrop solution for their needs. 

I still live in Berlin and am now a German/British citizen.
