I’m a London-based Set Decorator and Designer with 15 years’ experience across HETV, film, advertising, branded content and entertainment.

I trained in Performance Design at Central Saint Martins and have always been drawn to the detail that makes a set feel believable. The original ingredients of design … colour, pattern and form together with all the slightly imperfect, accumulated things that suggest a life beyond the frame.

Selected credits include Netflix’s Heartstopper, BBC One’s Ludwig and Disney+ series Wedding Season. Heartstopper received a BAFTA nomination and an Emmy Award, while Ludwig won the International Emmy for Best Comedy.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to build close working relationships and lasting friendships with Production Designers and colleagues across the wider art department. I enjoy collaborating with them to develop a project’s visual language and carry it through into sets that feel characterful, specific and practical to shoot. I’ve designed and sourced across the UK and internationally, and have built a trusted network of brilliant makers, suppliers and specialist craftspeople throughout Europe and NYC.

Alongside production work, I run Set Dec Superstars, which offers friendly, practical training for people working in set decoration and the wider art department. My online workshop, The Colour Sessions, explores how colour theory can be applied to film and television, covering palettes, contrast, character, camera and the grade.

I’m a great believer in organised departments and have developed reliable digital systems for budgeting, sourcing, visual research and team management. They help keep complicated projects moving while leaving room for the creative work.
