Thank you for checking out my profile!
I spent the last four years working as an Assistant Buyer across multiple genres of band 3 and 4 film and HETV projects. Before that, I was an art department coordinator on three productions.
That experience (along with an MFA in Production Design from AFI Conservatory in LA and a previous career as a news reporter) has made me an extremely organized all-rounder who is cool under pressure and thrives in fast-paced enrironments.
I’ve done a little bit of everything – raising POs, sourcing props, dressing sets, helping with action props, tracking budgets and clearance, managing dailies, standby maintenance, breaking down scripts, creating mood boards and quick concept drawings and much more.
Having lived in three continents has taught me to look beyond prop houses and markets for that hard-to-find prop, not to mention the joy of intruducing my colleagues to obscure international snacks.
In me, you’ll get someone who is just as comfortable rummaging through the shelves in propland as combing through spreadsheets.
Additionally, I’m proficient in Rhino 3D, Sketchup and the Adobe Suite.
If you have time, please check out my website for a glimpse of my previous work as a production designer/art director on independent short and feature films prior to moving to the UK. Tight budgets and small crews means relying on creativity and ingenuity and I was fortunate to have my work featured in festivals like Cannes and Holly Shorts.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope we get to work together some day.
