After working at an architect and interior design office in central London, and studying in architecture, I started working in the art department, working, in the first few films with my father, who was a well known member. After that finding more of my own jobs drawing sets, After the death of my father I was lucky to be contacted by the late production designer Peter lamont, who employed me on the James Bond film ‘Golden eye’, after which working with him on other films, including ‘Aliens’ other bond films and ‘The titanic’
working also with other designers, eventually becoming an art director, later supervising art director on t.v films, working many other countries, Canada, Germany, Morocco, Austria, Italy,Ireland, Hungary, chez republic, and other locations.
now I am based in Berlin and enjoy the Central European location.
having made the transition when needed from manual to digital production of drawings with Vectorworks, Rhino, Sketchup, etc also using the usual digital aids for the jobs required, office etc.
