Portrait & pastiche artist

A specialist portrait artist with over three decades of industry experience, I have produced paintings for over 60 feature films, TV series, and commercials, and am a longstanding BFDG member.

Working in most mediums (oils, watercolours, conte, pencil, pastel and charcoal), I can tailor my work to fit almost any brief, consulting with directors, production designers, set decorators, DOPs, buyers, and graphic designers to help realise their vision.

In recent years, I have also been exploring technology-based painting tools, developing a unique digital style which can provide further flexibility for filmmakers. I have a special interest in miniatures, and in addition to on-screen paintings, my work has also featured on book covers and product packaging.
