Founded in 1910, Rosco is a leader in products for the entertainment, and film & television industries. The company offers products in more than a dozen categories but is probably best known inside the Art Department for its backdrop solutions and its scenic paint & coatings products. Rosco has been awarded both an Academy Technical Achievement Award ® and an Engineering Emmy ® Award for its Day/Night backdrop technology.

SoftDrop^® – a revolutionary backdrop solution that features seamless imagery (up 11.6m H x 40m W) with an ultra-matte finish. SoftDrops fold for easy shipping and are available as Custom Backdrops, or as Rental Backdrops from Rosco’s Spain and US warehouses. SoftDrops are 100% cotton and manufactured using water-based inks – making them an environmentally-friendly solution compared to traditional vinyl drops.
