COMPETITION TIME! We’re on the hunt for our next BFDG Awards logo & we want you to design it!
As we did for last year’s awards we would like to give the opportunity for one of our members to have their design used as the central image for the awards. The image will be the visual focus for our promotional campaign as well appearing on the brochure, as screen graphics & on banners at the actual event. We’re looking for a strong graphic image that represents & celebrates the BFDG’s new Sustainability in Production Design Award, being launched for the first time this year. We would like the image to reflect the amazing talent in the Art Department as it embraces the challenge of working more sustainably. This will be The 12th BFDG Production Design Awards, held on Saturday 18th Feb 2023 at The Londoner Hotel.
Who can enter:
Any BFDG member, from students and newcomers, to HODs!
The prize:
A pair of silver tickets to our Awards event on the 18th February 2023 at The Londoner Hotel.
Submission:
Monday 1 August – 12pm on Sunday 28th August (4 weeks)
Please email your high resolution artwork as a PDF or JPG via a downloadable link to [email protected] by 2pm on Sunday 28th August, including your name, email & mobile number. Winning artwork will be requested at higher resolution once a final decision has been made by the BFDG Events Committee. Please note, that in order to fit into each format, we will need to be able to adapt the image. We may also need to overlay text & logos, & potentially animate elements, so keep this in mind when creating your design!
Required Format:
The dimensions of the graphic should be A4 Portrait.
All of the design’s master files should be 300ppi to ensure high quality imagery. You should be mindful that the design will be used across print & digital formats so please provide designs in CMYK format.
