The 13th British Film Designers Guild Production Design Awards
Supported by BENlabs

Saturday 24 February 2024
The Londoner Hotel, Leicester Square, London
Tickets will be on sale soon

The BFDG Awards first started as a low key event added on to our AGM to celebrate the work of our members. Originally there were only 3 award categories: Best Production, Spotlighting New Talent and Lifetime Achievement.

To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the BFDG, the awards grew into a much larger glittering and prestigious black tie event which took place in January 2016 at Pinewood Studios putting the event firmly on the map within the film and television awards season.

This has now become an annual event to celebrate and congratulate our members and the wealth of talent within the British Art Department.

Being able to celebrate the diverse range of skills and experience of our membership in this way would not be possible without a huge amount of support for our sponsors. Their continued backing financially and ‘in kind’ allows our awards event to happen each year.

Below you will find information on the award entry criteria together with the critical dates for entry and voting by members, how to become an award sponsor and our award history.

Changes this year in criteria and new awards – whilst we work hard to establish a diverse, fair and the most open criteria for entry submission, we are always happy to listen to members ideas’ and thoughts on how we can do better – please join us on the awards committee or let the office have your comments contact the office
